I haven’t been able to do much for Pride this year, sadly. Folks I’d usually celebrate with are either in the midst of a family crisis or have just sort’ve not been around. My social circle is more like a square… or a triangle.
But I’m reading good books (read ‘Our Monstrous Progeny’ for an excellent gothic queer take on Frankenstein with hints of Jurassic Park), and enjoying some time off and getting sunburn because I’m a pasty white lady who forgets to put sunscreen on! Genius!
I hope you (and anyone that also happens to read this) is safe, as well as you can be, and has many reasons to smile.

I’m doing fairly well, enjoying my new temporary role and I even get to work from home sometimes!
Latin is difficult, although I’m fully prepared to let the nearest ancient Roman know that my sister writes in the city and my brother sleeps. It’s all progress, right?

I did! I read it last year and enjoyed it very much, thank you! Definitely what one would call a ‘cosy mystery’, and Lord Wimsey is quite the memorable gentleman!
